This Privacy Policy describes how Blue Dawn Tech and its application DawnThread handle your information. DawnThread is a private dashboard tool that connects to the Threads API to display and manage Threads content for the authenticated account owner.

Blue Dawn Tech is committed to handling your data with transparency, minimal collection, and zero third-party sharing. This policy applies to DawnThread and any Blue Dawn Tech products that reference it.

What Data We Collect

When you authorize DawnThread via your Threads or Meta account, the application may access the following information through the Threads API:

  • Your Threads username and display name
  • Your Threads profile picture
  • Post content retrieved via keyword search queries you initiate within the app

No additional personal data is collected beyond what is necessary for the app to function. DawnThread does not collect passwords, payment information, location data, or any data outside of the Threads API scope you explicitly authorize.

How Your Data Is Used

Data accessed through the Threads API is used solely for the following purpose:

To display and manage your Threads content within a private dashboard tool that is accessible only to you as the authenticated account owner.

DawnThread does not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, machine learning training, or any purpose beyond what is described above.

Data Storage and Security

All data retrieved by DawnThread is stored locally on your device only. No data is transmitted to, stored on, or processed by any external server operated by Blue Dawn Tech or any third party.

Because storage is local and entirely within your control, the security of your data depends on the security of your own device and environment. Blue Dawn Tech does not have access to any data you view or retrieve through DawnThread.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

Blue Dawn Tech does not sell, share, rent, or disclose your data to any third party. DawnThread connects only to the official Threads / Meta API to retrieve content you authorize, and that data never leaves your device.

The only third-party service involved in DawnThread's operation is Meta's Threads API, which is governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy.

Your Rights and Control

You are in full control of your data at all times. Specifically:

  • You can revoke DawnThread's access to your Threads account at any time through your Meta account settings under Apps and Websites.
  • Revoking access immediately stops DawnThread from being able to retrieve any further data from the Threads API.
  • Since all data is stored locally, you can delete it from your device at any time by removing the application or clearing local storage.

There is no account to delete with Blue Dawn Tech because we do not store any data on our end.

Children's Privacy

DawnThread is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of DawnThread after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
